Staying on top of the latest threats, as well as the latest technologies and strategies designed to thwart today’s persistent cybercriminals, is top of mind for nearly every organization. IT personnel, cybersecurity professionals, and security leaders alike are forced to spend an enormous amount of time researching threat trends security tools looking for the right combination of solutions designed to secure their expanding digital resources and networks. Unfortunately, given the rapid pace of digital innovation occurring in most organizations, it’s time they don’t always have.

It’s one of the top reasons why attending the annual RSA conference in San Francisco is always so critical. Nowhere else can you find thousands of vendors with their solutions on full display, hands-on technology experiences, seasoned security experts to ask your most complicated technology or strategy questions to, or security sessions hosted by some of the top minds in the security field.

Fortinet Booth Focused on the Latest Security Innovations

These are the same reasons why Fortinet is proud to be a Platinum sponsor at this year’s conference. This year, Fortinet will be front and center at the North Hall Expo show floor, in booth #5855, with a wide range of technologies and booth events to help everyone from the security novice to the most seasoned cybersecurity professional find the solutions and advice they need to successfully secure their organizations.

This year’s booth will focus on some of the most top-of-mind issues organizations face today, including Secure SD-WAN and the need to protect branch connectivity, building Zero-Trust Network Access, the latest innovations in AI-Driven Security Operations – an area in which Fortinet has been leading the security industry for years, and dynamic cloud security. And as always, we will be hosting our very popular Expert Bar, staffed with some of the top security engineers in the industry to answer your most difficult questions.

We will also have an in-booth theater filled with over a dozen presentations on advanced Fortinet technologies, along with presentations from some of our top Fabric-Ready partners. Each presentation will be 15 minutes long, followed by a 5 minute Q&A, so they can be easily squeezed into any attendee’s busy show schedule.

Fortinet CEO to Deliver Critical Future-Looking Keynote Session

In addition, Ken Xie, Fortinet’s Founder, Chairman, and CEO will be delivering a critical Keynote Session entitled, “On the Edge of Something Big: Security’s Next Frontier. This keynote will be delivered on the Moscone West Main Stage on Thursday, February 27, at 4:05 PM.

As the digital and physical worlds converge, they are triggering an era of hyperconnectivity where billions and billions of edges and attack vectors are being created, and which most organizations – and security vendors – are unprepared to address.

Internet connectivity is now woven into nearly every aspect of our lives, and the emergence of 5G and SD-WAN will drive this experience even deeper into our organizations, social networks, and homes. In this new environment, security needs to be woven into every transaction at digital speeds. This requires security to operate as part of the network, adapting in real-time to network changes to ensure that new devices, configurations, or data paths don’t introduce risk or compromise compliance, regardless of how fast or how often those changes occur. Key to this is the weaving of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence into the new security-driven network.

Given Fortinet’s proven track record of innovation – including the creation of the largest Artificial Neural Network in the industry used to hunt for and identify threats, the integration of true AI technologies into our FortiGate solutions, and the development of custom security processors designed to meet the performance demands of today’s networks, along with our hundreds of security patents – this is a not-to-be-missed session.

Breakout Session on IoMT

Top Fortinet Researchers Aamir Lakhani, Senior Red Team Researcher, and Axelle Aprville, Principal Security Researcher, will be delivering a Breakout Session entitled, “Bringing Down the Empire – The Internet of Medical Things (IoMT).” New IoMT devices, ranging from connected medicine dispensers, pumps, and infusers to scanning systems and monitors are more than just new gadgets. People’s lives depend on them. However, given the generally insecure state of IoT, researchers have spent time and effort to discover and demonstrate vulnerabilities and raise concerns. In this session, two of Fortinet’s top researchers will explain the cybercriminal interest in IoMT devices and medical data, and provide some of their latest detailed findings concerning health-related malware. This session (PART 3-T10) will be held on Tuesday, February 25th at 1:00 PM.

We hope to see you at this year’s RSA

Plan on stopping by our booth, #5855, to experience a live, hands-on demo of some of the latest, cutting edge security solutions in the industry, meet with a security expert, or attend one of our nearly two dozen in-booth sessions. And don’t miss Ken Xie’s future-looking Keynote Session on Thursday afternoon, or our breakout session on IoMT led by two of Fortinet’s top security researchers.
